The proof of concept was filmed on a micro-budget, with street casting in Kibera. Location filming and local performers kept the speculative premise close to the place and people it was built around.

In Nairobi, a young man discovers powers that could change his life. As he teaches his younger sister to use hers, his ambitions begin to reach beyond their neighbourhood. A superhero drama proof of concept, filmed on location in Kibera with local performers. The story asks what extraordinary power might mean to people who have grown up without it.
Power before heroism
The story follows young people who are not yet heroes. As their abilities grow, questions of responsibility, belonging and political ambition become harder to separate. That tension is the basis of the series concept.
