Meet the people in Happy WarriorsSometimes the useful shift is small: a conversation somebody was avoiding, an idea they had dismissed, the feeling that they might try again. We make films with that possibility in mind, alongside people who care about the work as much as we do.

Souvid “JIJO” Datta / FounderBased in London, JBN brings together people who care about stories and the lives behind them. We work across documentary, scripted film, series and digital storytelling, building a team around each project.
Souvid “JIJO” Datta founded the studio alongside his work as a director and screenwriter. His films move between places and forms - from the Sundarbans in Moonlight Dreams to the artists in Silent Spaces and the scientists in Happy Warriors.
We pay attention to how someone tells their own story: the pause before a turning point, the detail they almost leave out. In the edit, we give those moments room. A complex subject can become something you feel because you’ve spent time with the person living it.
